Stroll Through Homes for Sale in Grand Haven Saturday

The Grand Haven Adult Resort Community at 1520 Grand Haven Boulevard, Romeoville, will host a Promenade House Walk from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16.

The event will highlight homes and townhomes for sale in the over-55 community, which features 657 units designed by Lakewood Homes and Del Webb. Grand Haven opened in 2002.

Volunteers from the community will welcome visitors at the registration desk in the Grand Haven Lodge, where visitors can see residents participating in various activities in the building, at the outdoor pool or on the bocce courts, tennis courts - or fishing in one of Grand Haven’s three stocked ponds.

Maps and listing sheets of all the open properties will be handed out to house walk visitors to use on their self-conducted tours, and Realtor representatives and/or sellers will be stationed in the homes to answer questions.

One of the event’s sponsors, Costco of Bolingbrook, will be on hand to enroll new members and provide light refreshments.
