Theft, Criminal Trespass, Minivan Stolen: Romeoville Blotter

Arrests and incidents occurred between Sept. 17 and Sept. 23.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 17

Cameron McKinney, 19, of the 100 block of Hale St. in Elmhurst, was charged with theft over $500. The arrest occurred in the 1200 block of Windham Parkway.

Sept. 22

Edgar Sanchez, 21, of the 200 block of Casseday Ave. in Joliet, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to property. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Roberto Mascote, 21, of the 900 block of Neufairfield Dr. in Joliet, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to property. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 700 block of Sunrise Dr. Three people took a mini-van valued at $25,000 that was parked on the street. The van was unknowingly left unlocked.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Sleepy Hollow. Someone entered a parked vehicle and took an iPad and charger. The items are valued at a total of $1,030.

Two burglaries to motor vehicles were reported in the 700 block of Mystic Lane. Someone entered two parked vehicles and rummaged through the vehicles. It appears nothing was taken.

Sept. 23

Ludionia Elorsa, 34, of the 23700 block of W. 119th in Plainfield, was charged with no valid driver’s license and an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of Whitecliffe Dr.

Rashaan Jones, 27, of the 1700 block of Inner Circle in Crest Hill, was charged with an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred in the area of Weber and Grand.
