Traffic Detours Planned At Renwick, Route 53 On Tuesday

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Traffic detours are planned at Route 53 and Renwick Road starting Tuesday due to an emergency project from AT&T, according to the Village of Romeoville.

The project will take place during overnight hours, and is scheduled to be complete on Thursday.

Traffic detours include:

• Through eastbound Renwick - All traffic must turn south onto Route 53, then west on Ruby Street (IL 53), south on Ottawa, left on Jackson, North onto Collins (IL 171) until it meets with IL 7 (Ninth Street)
• Eastbound left turn from Renwick to northbound IL 53 - All traffic must turn south onto IL 53, then west on Ruby Street (IL 53), south on Ottawa, left on Jackson, north onto Collins (IL 171), left onto IL 7 (Ninth Street) back to IL 53
• Northbound left turn onto westbound Renwick - Traffic is to continue north along IL 53, turn left onto Taylor Street, continue onto Airport Road, left onto Weber Road until it meets with Renwick Road
• Westbound left turn onto IL 53 - Continue west on Renwick Road, turn left at Weber Road, left at US 30 (Plainfield Road), left onto IL 7 (Theodore Street), continue onto IL 53
