Trespassing, Assault, Fleeing: Romeoville Arrests

Recent arrests reported by the Romeoville Police Department.

Valerie Warner, 36, of the 200 block of Comstock Street, Joliet, was arrested Sept. 20 on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, driving too fast for conditions, no insurance, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to give information and failure to notify police of a cash bond.

Jared Landry, 32, of the 200 block of Murphy Drive, was arrested at 4:48 p.m. Sept. 22 on charges of obstructing identification and obstructing an officer.

Karen Cox, 43, of the 1800 block of Arbor Lane, Crest Hill, was arrested Sept. 23 on charges of DUI, no insurance and use of an unsafe tire.

Marelyn Mocino, 22, of the 5000 block of West 30th, Cicero, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Oct. 2 in the area of Romeo Road and Eaton on charges of possession of a controlled substance and failure to signal.

Dijon Aldaz, 30, of the 500 block of Circle Drive, Park Forest, was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Oct. 4 in the area of Route 53 and Airport Road on charges of driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol and one red taillight.

Bryan Lawson, 34, of the 25000 block of Vermette Road, Plainfield, was arrested at 5:55 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive on charges of criminal trespassing and assault.

Geraldine Marshall, 55, of the 700 block of Belmont, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. Oct. 7 in the area of Belmont and Beverly Griffin on charges of DUI, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no rear registration light.

Cervando Cerda, 29, of the 700 block of Yates Avenue, was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Oct. 9 in the area of Murphy and Eaton on charges of fleeing and eluding, no valid license, speeding and driving without lights.

Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
