Two Vehicles Stolen; One Had Key In It: Romeoville Police

Stolen vehicles

Feb. 19: A car with the key left in it was stolen from the 200 block of Two River Court. The vehicle was valued at $5,000. Someone rummaged through a second vehicle, but nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Feb. 21: A pickup truck worth $11,000 was stolen from the parking lot of a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive.

Burglary

Feb. 19: Someone went through two vehicles parked in the 2000 block of Tuscany Lane but did not take anything.

Feb. 19: Several pieces of jewelry were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Fairfield Drive. The jewelry was worth an estimated $4,120.

Retail theft

Feb. 19: Someone stole a 12-pack of beer worth $20.94 from a business in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive.

Property damage

Feb. 20: A window at a home in the 200 block of Daisy Circle was broken, causing $300 in damage.
