Valley View Elects New School Board Officers

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Steve Quigley will serve another term as President of the Valley View School District 365U Board of Education, following Monday’s night re-organization of the board.

Newest board member Sally Guilbo was sworn in as were incumbents Liz Campbell, Deb Sykora and Victor Zack all of whom were re-elected last month.

Zack will serve as board vice president while Sykora will be secretary for the next two years.

In addition to meetings on May 22 and June 22, 2017-18 school year board meetings will take usually take place at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, except when the date falls on a Monday holiday. Meetings will be held at Lukancic Middle School, 725 Normantown Road, Romeoville.

Specific meeting dates in 2017 are July 17, Aug. 14 and 28, Sept. 11 and 25, Oct. 10 and 23, Nov. 13, and Dec. 11. Meeting dates for 2018 include Jan. 8 and 22, Feb. 12 and 26, March 12 and 26, April 16, May 14 and 29, and June 11.
