Valley View Hosts Job Fair At Romeoville Library

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Valley View School District will host a job fair on Nov. 16 at White Oak Library-Romeoville Branch, and the district is hiring immediately for a variety of jobs.

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the library, 201 Normantown Road.

The district said immediate interviews will be offered at the job fair, and some hiring decisions will be made on-the-spot for those who qualify.

Those attending the job fair should dress professionally and bring their valid driver’s license and Social Security card.

The district is looking to fill several part-time and full-time positions for the current school year, including: lunchroom aids, playground aides, nutrition services staff, paraprofessionals, security personnel, substitute teachers and transportation services.

The district offers competitive pay, and a range of benefits depending on the position. Most of the hours for the positions at the job fair are within the regular school day, according to the district.
