Valley View Latino Community Fair March 31

The free event is scheduled to run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Main Gym at Bolingbrook High School.

A wide range of community groups from health and human services agencies to child care, recreation and much more will be on display Thursday, March 31 at the seventh annual Valley View School District 365U Latino Community Fair.

The free event, scheduled to run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Main Gym at Bolingbrook High School, will feature such organizations as Power Connection, Guardian Angel, Child Care, Will County, DuPage County, Lazos de Familiia, SSIP, Girl Scouts, Giving DuPage, Casa DuPage, Head Start, the Village of Bolingbrook, the Bolingbrook Park District, Fountaindale and White Oak libraries, World Relief and more.

Sparky, the mascot of the Chicago Fire soccer club, will make a special appearance during the evening.

Students from Beverly Skoff and Tibbott elementary schools will perform traditional dances including El Cerro de la Silla, Las Chiapanecas y el Rascapetate, Vamos a Jugar, La Cucaracha

Refreshments will be served.

Free child care will be available.

The event is sponsored by the ELL/Bilingual Department.
