Valley View Looking to Fill Board of Education Vacancy

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Valley View School District 365U is seeking residents interested in filling the final five months of a vacancy on the Board of Education created by this week’s resignation of Chrystal Hansen who is moving out of town.

“We would like to thank Chrystal Hansen for her years of service on the School Board,” said VVSD School Board President Steve Quigley. “She has been gracious and kind in volunteering her time on behalf of the children, our stakeholders and this community.”

Anyone who would like to be considered for the vacant School Board member seat should prepare a resume and a brief statement on why you feel you should be considered for the vacancy and either e-mail it to CaseySL@vvsd.org or drop it off at the VVSD Administration Center in Romeoville to Mrs. Casey’s attention by noon Monday, Nov. 7.
