Valley View Schools Hold Fall Theatre Productions

Several fall productions are planned in November and December at Valley View schools.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — As we near closer to the holiday season and winter break, schools throughout Valley View School District are holding their fall plays.

Here's a look at the planned productions from each school:

  • "Trap" at Bolingbrook High School. The Brook Theatre presents the suspenseful documentary drama at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3 and Nov. 4, and at 3 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the Claar Auditorium. Tickets are $13 at the door. This show is not recommended for young children due to themes of fear and suspense. This show also utilizes sudden loud sound effects, the district said.
  • "A Trip to the Moon" at Lukancic Middle School. The one-act play with eight scenes will be performed at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 9, 10 and 11. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and kids six and younger are free.
  • "Death by Dessert" at Brooks Middle School. Performances are 7 p.m. on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 in the Brooks auditorium. Tickets are $6 at the door.
  • "Maid to Order" at Humphrey Middle School. The drama club will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 in the cafetorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.
  • "Ten Reasons Not To Be In A Play" at Jane Addams Middle School. The Drama Club will perform its fall production at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30. Tickets are $5 at the door, students are free.
  • "Elf, the Musical," at Romeoville High School. Performances are 7 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 10 in the auditorium.
  • "The Enchanted Bookshop," at A. Vito Martinez Middle School. Performances are at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 and noon on Dec. 16, according to the District.
