Valley View Wrestlers Head To IESA State Competition

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Eleven student-athletes from Valley View School District will compete at the IESA Class AA wrestling championships on Friday and Saturday at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, according to the school district.

Jane Addams Middle School will send six students to compete, including: sixth grader Julian Paniaqua-Ruiz, and eighth graders Mosiah Crenshaw, Raymond Geoirge, Logan Sogavo, Geno Vargas and Jonathan Washington.

Three students from Lukancic Middle School will compete, including: seventh grade student Pedro Hernandez and eighth grade students Jaedon Calderon and Daneil Dalach.

Humphrey Middle School will send seventh grade students D’Andre Franco and Juelz Flores to the final meet of the season, the district said.
