No One Found Inside Car In Pond Early Monday In Romeoville
Divers searched the submerged car and the surrounding area, and found no victims.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Fire crews were called for a vehicle in a pond at Weslake Parkway and Parkview Drive in Romeoville at 4:22 a.m. Monday, the Lockport Township Fire Protection District said.
A passerby who noticed the vehicle in the water was unsure if it was occupied, the fire district said.
Fire crews arrived and found the vehicle about 100 feet from shore, and 50 percent submerged in the water. The fire district said it deployed a "surface rescuer" into the water for a quick check of the vehicle before it became fully submerged.
