Village Board Recognizes RHS Dance & Cheer Team During Meeting

Village officials and staff recognized the Romeoville High School Cheerleading and Dance teams for their accomplishments this season. Both teams qualified for State this season.

In other business during the meeting, the village board approved the following:

• A new digital sign agreement with Mongo McMichael’s
• An agreement between the village and Argonne National Laboratory for use of each other’s emergency operations command center in a situation where their primary one is unavailable.
• An agreement with US Protection Agency, Inc. for Romeofest security
• A contract for the 2020 manhole rehabilitation project
• Annexation of 17.5 acres of property for the Pinnacle Drive expansion
• The Romeoville police officers Wellness Program

Various purchases approved during the meeting included the following:

• Snowplow blades and liftgates for two pickup trucks
• Two Ford Explorers
• Bulk rock salt for the ion exchange water softening process
