Volunteer At O'Hara Woods In Romeoville
Every month, volunteers can help cut invasive brush, burn brush piles, pull garlic mustard, and collect seed from native plants.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Conservation Foundation and the Friends of O'Hara Woods will hold its monthly volunteer workday at O'Hara Woods on Aug. 27 from 8 to 11 a.m.
Every month, volunteers can help cut invasive brush, burn brush piles, pull garlic mustard, and collect seed from native plants, according to the Village website.
Volunteers can meet in the parking lot off of Beverly J. Griffin Drive. You can bring a water bottle, a pair of work gloves and dress for the weather if you plan to volunteer.

Monthly workdays will also be held Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.
