Special meeting scheduled for Saturday.

The Board of Education will hold a special executive session meeting Saturday morning to discuss collective bargaining with the teachers’ union.

Board president Steve Quigley said the discussion will center around next year’s contract with the American Federation of Teachers Local 604.

“This is just so we can talk about what we’re going to do going forward,” Quigley said, adding negotiations have yet to begin. “We haven’t even sat down with them.”
