Wanted Romeoville Man Captured in New Lenox: Cops

A wanted Romeoville man was captured during a July 11 traffic stop, police said.

Daniel Schrum, 33, of 206 McKool Ave. was taken into custody shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Maple Road.

Schrum was pulled over for a moving violation, police said, and the officer who stopped Schrum figured out he was wanted in Douglas County for contempt of court.

Schrum was released after he posted bond.
