Warming Centers Available In Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Warming centers are available in Romeoville as cold temperatures are possible throughout the week. There is a limited excessive cold risk on Wednesday, and an elevated excessive cold risk on Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures will start to fall on Wednesday, and the low for Wednesday night is 1 degree. The high for Thursday is 20 degrees, and temperatures will be very cold Thursday night with a low of -9 degrees, according to the weather service.
Friday will also be cold, with a high of 16, the weather service said.

In Romeoville, several warming centers are available for residents who may be in need. The Will County Emergency Management Agency advises calling before arriving at a facility, to ensure that they are open and operating as a warming center.

- White Oak Library District - Romeoville branch, 201 W. Normantown Road. Open 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Masks are required.
