Weed Found In Ceiling After Cops Investigate Shooting: Report
$3,000 worth of marijuana was found in a Romeoville home Sunday.

ROMEOVILLE, IL -- A Romeoville man was arrested Sunday after Romeoville police investigating a report of shots fired reportedly found marijuana hidden in the ceiling of his home. Eddie Soto, 26, of 717 Echo Ave., was charged with manufacture/delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis and possession of 100-500 grams cannabis after the April 9 arrest.
A Will County Assistant State's Attorney said police obtained a search warrant for Soto's home after investigating a report of shots fired in the area, according to the Herald-News. During a search, 214 grams of packaged cannabis worth an estimated $3,000 was found hidden in the known gang member's ceiling, police said, according to the report.
Soto's bond was set at $100,000 on Monday, according to Will County jail records. He remained in custody as of Tuesday morning.

Soto's record includes arrests for domestic battery, aggravated intimidation, parole violation and DUI. He's due back in court April 28, according to jail records.
