14-Year-Old Girl Dies of Injuries from I-55 Crash
The girl was riding with her dad in a minivan when a semi hit them Thursday.

A 14-year-old girl died one day after she and her dad were severely injured in a wreck on Interstate 55 near Arsenal Road. Hannah Schlenbecker, of Tulsa, OK, died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 6:12 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County medical examiner.
She and her dad were in a minivan with two other people when a semi struck the van, according to State Police, at about 1 p.m. Thursday in the northbound lanes of I-55 near Channahon. The minivan passengers were taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, and the child was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center due to the severity of her injuries.
Citations have not been issued and State Police continue to investigate.
