4 Child Pornography Charges: Shorewood Man Jailed

SHOREWOOD, IL — A 49-year-old Shorewood who lives at the Imperial Mobile Home Community has been charged with four counts of child pornography as a result of an Illinois State Police Investigation.

This month, the Will County State's Attorney's Office charged Brian Hargis after the Illinois State Police found digital videos on the Shorewood man's phone that contained a nude girl under the age of 13 performing sexual acts with an adult man, the criminal complaint indicated. The child pornography on Hargis' phone was recovered on Aug. 31, the criminal complaint stated.

Hargis, who lives at 106 East Jefferson Street, has remained in the Will County Jail since his arrest on Sept. 2. His bail has been set at $100,000.
