Alleged Batterer Betrayed By Blood Trail Snaking Through Evergreen Terrace Building: Cops

The police reportedly followed a trail of blood and tracked down the alleged batterer.

The cops tracked down an alleged batterer by following a trail of blood through an Evergreen Terrace building, police said.

Ronald Weekly, 22, had repeatedly struck a 5-months pregnant woman before punching a mirror, shattering it and cutting his hand Monday evening, police said. Weekly was allegedly angry over something that had been posted on Facebook.

Weekly took off before the cops arrived at his second-story apartment, police said, but officers followed the trail of blood up to the third floor, where they found him and placed him under arrest.
