SHOREWOOD, IL — One of the best small-town festivals around the Will County area is only a few days away and village of Shorewood officials are reminding people that you cannot show up for the community's annual Crossroads Festival if you bring certain items to the admissions area.
But, first, to recap, Crossroads Festival will take place 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 1 p.m. to midnight on Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. All the food and fun takes place at Cene's Four Seasons Park 25450 West Seil Road. There will be carnival rides, live music bands, games, food and the always popular fireworks show after it gets dark on Saturday night.
Windy City Amusements will return to set up the carnival rides and amusement park.
There are two entrances to enter Crossroads Fest: the main entrance is along Seil Road and the secondary entrance is on the carnival side along Wynstone Drive. It's a cash only event; ATMs will be available on the site. There is no entrance fee to attend Crossroads Festival, however, wristbands are required for all alcohol sales. The wristbands will cost you $5 and the wristbands will be sold at each entrance as well as the beer ticket booth. For $20, people get five beer tickets.
"Lots of cold beer and great music!" proclaims the Crossroads Festival website.
