SHOREWOOD, IL — One of the Shorewood Police Department arrests from last week involved a landscaping company driver who was involved a crash only involving his vehicle.
According to the arrest logs, the incident happened at 9:22 a.m. on Friday, July 30 in front of the house at 927 Nightshade Lane. Alejandro Alvarado Cisneros, 24, of Joliet's 1100 block of Douglas Street was arrested for having an outstanding arrest warrant from an in-state police agency and for having no valid driver's vehicle.
Shorewood police said they responded to the area of 927 Nightshade Lane for a crash. While enroute WESCOM
advised a landscaping truck struck a tree and a light pole in front of 927 Nightshade Lane and left the scene.
The responding officers later observed a white Chevrolet pickup truck towing a landscaping trailer parked on Wildflower Drive. The vehicle had severe front-end damage. The officer also observed the light pole in front of 927 Nightshade Lane on the ground and the tree in the parkway with damage.
Arrest reports indicate that the officers met with Alvarado and the officers ran Alvarado's information through the MDC. The officer observed Alvarado had an active servable warrant
out of DuPage County for failure to appear in court.
