SHOREWOOD, IL — This summer hasn't felt the same because the Joliet Park District opted to cancel the Taste of Joliet in June, an event that drew many of country music's biggest-known stars to Memorial Stadium year after year. But for country music lovers, all is not lost. For the second year in a row, just up Route 52 at County Line Road, Papa Magoo's Bar and Grill will be hosting its second-ever Papa Magoo's Music Fest.
It's a full day festival of live music, cold drinks, great food and unforgettable vibes, the marketing promotion notes.

The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 in the large Papa Magoo's parking lot. Bryan Martin is the headliner and his smash hit "We Ride" reached top 3 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. Martin has attained more than 1.4 billion career streams and millions of monthly listeners.
"Martin's grit-soaked sound resonates across a vast audience. His hard-earned success also earned him a nomination for MusicRow Awards' 2024.
Papa Magoo Reveals Time Slots For Martin, Other Performers
Near Shorewood, Martin will take the stage at Papa Magoo's around 9 p.m. Before Martin's concert, music talent Hairbangers Ball & Andru Jamison will perform.
Music Fest entry will be $25 and $50 for VIP. Doors will open at 2 p.m. with the first shows starting at 3 p.m.
Papa Magoo's is located at 14285 South County Line Road right off Route 52. It's just outside the village limits for Shorewood right near the border for Will and Kendall Counties.
