Animal Control Out of Control?
Crazy things—and a dead kitten—have been coming out of Joliet Township Animal Control lately, says the Herald-News.

The embattled officer, Bryan Jones, then tried to convince township officials that taking and keeping the dog was a rational course of action by pulling a dead cat out of a plastic garbage bag during the political body's usually humdrum regular meeting, the Herald-News said.

Township Supervisor Dan Vera has given Jones the choice of resigning or getting fired, according to the article, but Vera wants the Chihuahua back either way. Jones has until 4 p.m. today to decide his fate.
