Another Domestic Battery Arrest Made By Shorewood Police, This Time On Savoy Drive

SHOREWOOD, IL —The Shorewood Police Department made at least five arrests over this past weekend and one of those arrests involved David Gomez, a 51-year-old resident who was taken to the Will County Jail on charges of obstructing justice and domestic battery.

The arrest happened on Saturday night at his home in the 300 block of Savoy Drive.

According to the police department's arrest summary, the officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to domestic battery. Upon arrival, the officers spoke with the victim who advised an argument occurred and that Gomez shoved the victim onto an ottoman in the living room.

The Shorewood police had Gomez arrested for domestic battery. Once back at the police station, the arrest report indicates that Gomez refused to participate in the booking process, so he was also charged with obstructing justice. At that point, a Shorewood police car took him to the Will County Jail and he remained in custody as of Monday afternoon.
