Avoid Route 59, Black Road: Shorewood Police

SHOREWOOD, IL — Shorewood police were warning drivers to avoid the area of Route 59 and Black Road after utility lines nearby became damaged. In an alert issued at around 2 p.m. Monday, police said the road would be closed for the next 60 to 90 minutes.

"Expect significant delays," officials said. "Use alternate routes."
