Jan. 15

Rene Mejia, 20, of the 500 block of Williamson Ave. in Joliet, was charged with no valid driver’s license and no taillights. The arrest occurred at Shorewood Dr. and Vertin Blvd.

Gregorio Cortez, 36, of the 500 block of N. Chicago St. in Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended and other equipment violations. The arrest occurred at 210 Black Rd.

Jan. 16

Briana L. Mikalayunas, 21, of the 6500 block of Bazz Dr. in Plainfield, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. The arrest occurred at S. Sarver Dr. and W. Seil Rd.

Jan. 17

Brian E. Maylee, 26, of the 15900 block of W. 139th in Homer Glen, was charged with battery. The arrest occurred at 700 W. Jefferson St.

Jan. 19

Anacleto M. Lacsamana, 21, of the 3100 block of Bloomfield Dr. in Joliet, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, no insurance and improper lighting. The arrest occurred on I-55 and E. Jefferson St.

Jan. 20

Paula L. Staford, 42, of the 1100 block of New Lenox Rd. in Joliet, was charged with obstructing justice, driving while license restricted and no seatbelt. She was also picked up on two Will County warrants. The arrest occurred at Brookforest Ave. and E. Jefferson St.

Jan. 21

Cecillo Barraza, 19, of the 0-100 block of Andys Ln. in Aurora, was charged with possession of cannabis and improper lane use. The arrest occurred at 199 Brookforest Ave.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of cannabis. The arrest occurred at 199 Brookforest Ave.

Maira Jimenez, 46, of the 1300 block of W. 151st in West Chicago, was charged with no valid driver’s license. The arrest occurred at Cottage St. and Shorewood Ln.

Robin E. Solner, 22, of the 2300 block of White Birch Ln. in Joliet, was charged with possession of cannabis, no insurance and illegal use of cellphone. The arrest occurred at Brookforest Ave. and Vertin Blvd.

Christina Bennefield, 26, of the 800 block of Summit Creek. Dr., was charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane use. The arrest occurred at Black Rd. and Summit Creek.
