Candidates' Events Scheduled for Thursday in Romeoville
First portion of the evening is at Lewis University, followed by a forum/Q&A at Grand Haven.

Lewis University and Romeoville’s Grand Haven community will host a candidates’ night on Thursday, Sept. 25.
The following candidates have been invited and are expected to attend:
- Yvonne Bolton (R) -- Illinois House, 98th District
- Sharon Branigan (R) -- U.S. Congress, 3rd District
- Dave Carlson (R) -- 12th Circuit (1st Subcircuit) Judge
- Sherri Hale (D) -- 12th Circuit (1st Subcircuit) Judge
- Diane Para (D) -- 12th Circuit (1st Subcircuit) Judge
- Ken Kaupas (R) -- Will County Sheriff
- Mike Kelley (D) -- Will County Sheriff
- Natalie Manley (D)* -- Illinois House, 98th District
- Dan Rippy (R) -- 12th Circuit (1st Subcircuit) Judge
- Darlene Senger (R) -- U.S. Congress, 11th District
- Laurie Summers (D) -- Will County Treasurer
- Steve Weber (R)* -- Will County Treasurer

The evening will begin with an informal meet and greet at 5 p.m. in the University Dining Room at Lewis University, 1 University Parkway. Candidates will be given table space to meet with community members one on one, and will have the chance to meet with students, faculty and local constituents.
A voter registration table will also be available, and refreshments will be served. The Lewis University portion of the evening will end at 6 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., Grand Haven, 1520 Grandhaven, will host the second half of the event.
Each candidate will have five minutes to address the crowd, followed by a brief Q&A period.
Area residents from outside the Grand Haven community are welcome to attend. The Grand Haven portion of the evening will also be recorded and broadcast on Romeoville Public Access Channel 6.
