Chili Cook-Off Set at Skooter's Roadhouse

Proceeds from the event help fund five scholarships.

SHOREWOOD, IL — Come out for a day of fun, food and football at the PJWC Chili Cook-Off, hosted by the Plainfield Junior Women’s Club.

Attendees can sample delicious chili made by local heroes including policemen, firemen, and school principals, as well as PJWC members. Fun also includes the Bears game, raffles and door prizes, an exciting Wine Pull where everyone’s a winner, and voting to declare the 2016 Chili Cook-Off Winner.

The event will be held Sunday, Nov. 13 from 11:30-4:00 at Skooter's Roadhouse at 700 W Jefferson in Shorewood. Tickets are $20 in advance from a member, $22 by PayPal on PJWC website and $25 at the door. Ticket includes chili tasting and snacks. Cash bar and drink specials will be available. All ticket sales, raffles, and any other items for purchase will be cash or check only on the day of the event.
