Classical Pianist to Tickle Ivories at The Timbers

A classical pianist will perform at The Timbers of Shorewood.

Classical pianist Floyd Andrew will perform for residents and the public Wednesday night in the Grand Ballroom at The Timbers of Shorewood.

The show at the 1100 N. River Road retirement community starts at 6:30 p.m.

Known as “Mr. Showman,” Andrew performs standards including Broadway show tunes, movie theme songs, nostalgic classics, and music from times gone by.

He has performed across the United States and Canada, including at the Special Olympics and the Toronto Winter Fest. Andrew holds a Licentiate from Trinity College of Music in London, England.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community. It provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay — a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
