Coffey joins Heartland Bank

Dan Coffey recently joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company as Vice President Commercial Banking.

Coffey brings 10 years of experience in the financial industry, starting his career in credit analysis and moving to commercial lending. He will be located at the bank’s Shorewood location at 700 W Jefferson Street.

A graduate of Lewis University, he received his MBA at Texas A&M University – Commerce with an emphasis in finance. Coffey is currently an adjunct professor in the finance department at Lewis University in Romeoville.  He is also an avid volunteer with the United Way, Braidwood Baseball & Softball, and Reed Custer Soccer club.  Dan currently serves as Treasurer of Board of Directors – Service of Will, Grundy, and Kanakee Counties; and is a board member for Lamb’s Fold Women’s and Children’s Center.

He and his wife, Diana, live in Essex with their three children, Sam, Paul and Evelyn.

“I believe my finance knowledge and lending experience will be a benefit to the Shorewood area. I look forward to building strong relationships with our commercial loan customers,” said Coffey.
