Couples Dance Classes Begin Wednesday, August 12th, 2015

Beginning Couples Dancing (LLC 3514)

Designed especially for couples who wish to dance with one specific partner, this class will teach basic patterns for the rumba, waltz, foxtrot and swing. Join in a fun, easy-to-learn environment and learn to dance to a variety of musical genres including big band, rock and roll, country and contemporary. Enjoy spending time learning a new skill as a couple and be prepared for a variety of social dance events. Enroll as a couple: price is per person.

Couples Dancing Continued (LLC 3626)

The fun continues for our dancing couples who can build on the ballroom basics learned in “Beginning Couples Dancing.” This class will add new patterns to the foxtrot, rumba, swing, and waltz as well as introduce couples to the always popular and exciting cha cha. More focus will be placed on styling techniques and combining patterns for fluid movement. Completion of “Beginning Couples Dancing Course” recommended. Enroll as a couple: price is per person. Thursday students please note the last night of class will be held on Wednesday.
