The weather was so oppressive it was almost hard to enjoy being in Shorewood. Almost.
It's hot in Shorewood, friends. Very, very hot.
But it is better to be too hot in Shorewood than to be comfortable anywhere else, because Shorewood is just that great.

Yorkville man Andrew Myers allegedly got into it with somebody in a McDonald's drive-thru, then took off and hid in a Shorewood driveway. Myers split again after some bike cops pulled up on him, and then he tore through Shorewood with a squad car chasing him, police said. To make matters worse, Myers was supposedly doing all this with his girlfriend and his girlfriend's young daughter in the car with him. Shorewood's finest ultimately arrested Myers, but the bike cops proved to be of little to no help in the pursuit.
