Doug Dvorak: Croatia & The Dalmation Coast at the Timbers
Doug Dvorak will present a travelogue on Croatia and the Dalmation Coast, free and open to the public at the Timbers of Shorewood.
Doug Dvorak will present a travel program called “Croatia and the Dalmatian Coast” at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. The public is warmly welcome.
The Dalmatian Coast is in the southernmost region of Croatia’s 3,600 miles of coastline. Dubbed the most stunning coastline in Europe, the Dalmatian Coast features dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden coves and beaches, vineyards and olive groves and scattered offshore islands.
Dvorak spends several months of the year exploring the world, photographing, documenting and compiling his travels into customized travel programs for presentations and workshops.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
