'A Bit of Blarney' Trip

Those ages 18 and up can register for this event to explore Irish Chicago.

The event will include a tour of Old St. Patrick's Church and the Bridgeport neighborhood. Attendees will hear a history of the "hardscrabble area."

A traditional Irish lunch at Timothy O'Tooles will be included. Attendees will have to pre-select their entree choice of pub fish and chips or Guiness beef stew.

The event will also include a stop at Garrett's Popcorn.

Registration is required by Feb. 14, 2012.

The trip will depart from section 10 of the Westfield Mall, by JC Penny's West.
