
A concert by the Joliet Junior College Chorale will take place at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Timbers of Shorewood retirement community, 1100 N. River Rd. The choir will perform selections from its Dec. 11th concert, “Carols and Chocolate.”
The JJC Chorale, Joliet Junior College 's 45-voice community choir is comprised of people of high school age and older who enjoy singing. The choir is conducted by Philip Spencer, professor of music, who is a graduate of the Yale University School of Music.
The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents, whose needs may change, are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate care.
