MoBeat Blues at the Timbers

MoBeat Blues, with Samuel and Janice Lozada, will perform at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in the ballroom at the Timbers of Shorewood retirement community, 1100 N. River Road. This is a free event and is open to the public.

This veteran duo has performed at over 225 senior communities. Samuel Lozada, an accomplished singer, songwriter and composer, has been touted “the Louis Armstrong of the harmonica.” He engages the audience by spinning familiar songs in a high-energy style mixed with comedic presentation. With an upbeat blend of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Country, Rock, Swing and Pack Rat, MoBeat Blues offers a little bit of everything.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents, whose needs may change, are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate care.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Shelly Goggins at 815-609-0669
