Operation Welcome You Home

Operation Welcome You Home will invite the public to help welcome home eight soldiers from their service in Afghanistan

Staging will take place at 5 p.m. at Home Depot, with a briefing taking place at 5:15 p.m.

Attendees will escort the heroes to the Cantigny Post VFW 367, 826 Horseshoe Drive, Joliet, where a ceremony and concert will be held.

Flag holders are needed to line the streets and entrance to the Cantigny VFW.

Boy and Girl Scout troops, Civil Air Patrol and any other groups are welcome to join in the flag line.
