Shorewood Community Garden Gardeners’ Open House

This event will take place in the Troy Township Community Room and will feature guest speaker Donna Theimer.

Topics will include the following:

• Soil preparation for successful plant growth
• Successful planting
• Intercropping
• Alternative planting methods
• Rain harvesting, including pond-less waterfalls and rain barrels

Open to Village of Shorewood and Troy Township unincorporated residents, the event will cost $5, or free to 2012 registered Gardeners.

Registration will be required at Shorewood Village Hall by May 3.
