EXPLORE Placement Testing for Private School Eighth Grade Students & Make-Up Placement Testing for Public School Eighth Grade Students
EXPLORE Placement Testing and make-ups for private school eighth grade students will take place Saturday, Oct 25 at JCHS and Nov 8 at JWHS.
Joliet Township High School District 204 will conduct placement testing for current eighth grade private school students who reside within the district’s boundaries and make-up testing for public school eighth graders who did not take the test at their school on the designated testing day. The testing will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Joliet Central and Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Joliet West. Students can attend either testing date, regardless of the JTHS school they will attend next year. Testing begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. both days. Please arrive early. There is no cost to take this test.
All public and private school students planning to attend either Joliet Central or Joliet West during the 2015-2016 school year must take this test. The purpose of this test is to help determine placement for eighth grade students who will enter Joliet Township High School in the Fall of 2015. It is recommended that all students make these testing dates a priority. If you miss these make-up testing dates your student will be tested on registration days in January and will not be able to register until the placement test is complete. Waiting until January may affect elective choices.
