Fiddler on The Timbers
Famous violinist Henrik Karapetyan is playing at The Timbers of Shorewood.
Violinist Henrik Karapetyan will fill The Timbers' ballroom with lovely violin music at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at , 1100 N. River Road, .
Karapetyan, a violinist who has been performing for more than 20 years, will entertain with a combination of classical and folk violin pieces. He will give a narrative of the works before performing them to explain each story to residents.
In addition to touring the Chicago area several times a year giving classical music performances, Karapetyan, a native of Rochester, MI, performs with the Michigan Opera Theatre in Detroit. He is also currently working towards a doctoral degree at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
