FISHING DERBY THIS SATURDAY

The Village of
Shorewood’s Annual Fishing Derby is almost here ....and this year, it brought a
Very Special Friend along. This coming Saturday,
June 7th, will have a morning Fishing Derby for children 12 and under at Cene's
Four Seasons Park at the pond pavilion. Registration begins at 8:00am. Poles in the water at 9am. Awards given at 10am.

Participants should bring their
own safety vests, poles and bait. Prizes will be given and bragging rights to
the "big one that got away" will be yours all year long.

On the same day, the afternoon Special Needs Fishing Derby will be located at Towne Center Park and will utilize a stable fishing platform on the dock and the Towne Center Bridge. This is open to families with special needs members regardless of age. Developmental delays, physical challenges and sensory disorders will all be accommodated. Registration begins at 1pm for the Special Needs Derby.
