Forest Preserve District Looking For Volunteers

Have some time to spare Saturday morning — then chip and help clean up the Rock Run Greenway Black Road Access.

The Forest Preserve District of Will County is looking for volunteers to participate in a restoration workday on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, at the District's Rock Run Greenway Black Road Access.

Volunteers will assist with trail maintenance, brush clearing, rubbish removal and wood chipping.

Comcast will provide lunch to participants at noon. Only those who registered for the workday will be eligible for lunch.  Registration is also required so that enough work tools can be made available.
