Gallery Seven Accepting Submissions for Open Lens 2015 Photgraphy Exhibit

Photographers are invited to submit original works for Joliet gallery's annual juried photography exhibit.

Gallery Seven, 116 N. Chicago Street, in downtown Joliet is announcing a call for photographers to submit their images for “Open Lens VI” April 1- April 30.

This juried exhibit is open to any artist. All photographs must be entirely the creations of the submitting artist and hav http://galleryseven.nete not been submitted to previous Open Lens jurying.

The image may be created on film or by digital capture and may be enhanced or manipulated by computer software, but a computer generated or graphic design image will not be accepted.

Awards: Best of Show, first, second and third place and honorable mentions. The “Best of Show” artist will receive the opportunity to have an individual exhibit at Gallery 7 during the Open Lens VII show in 2016.

“Open Lens VI” opens on June 15th and runs through July 31. An exhibit reception is on June 20, 6:30-9 P.M. and is open and free for the public.

Gallery Seven is a cooperative group of local artists, located at 116 N. Chicago St., Suite 102, next to the Historic Rialto Theatre, downtown Joliet. This free gallery is open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. - noon the first Saturday of the month. All exhibited work at Gallery Seven is for sale.
