Ha Ha Ha Packers — The Real Shorewood Gets The Last Laugh

It was nearly a year ago that the Bears let down our own Mayor Rick Chapman — leader of the one true — and Mayor Rick had to with rib dinners.

That was a dark, dark day. And it only got worse from there.

The Packers went on to win the Super Bowl, then reeled off an all-but-perfect regular season this year. They seemed destined to repeat as world champions. Even the referees looked like they wanted them to win.

But then it all came crashing down and no amount of incompetent or crooked officiating, or discount double-checking, was enough to overcome the great blue wave of the New York Giants pass rush.

So now the people of Green Bay (which appears to bear more than a passing resemblance to Joliet, at least from the shots Fox broadcast after commercials) get to go back to their lousy town and, judging from this video, cry.

Guess she shouldn't have put on the sparkles after all.
