He Stole Jeep From Shorewood's Dealership: Complaint

But it's not your typical auto theft case, according to allegations in Will County's criminal complaint.

SHOREWOOD, IL - An arraignment is scheduled for Friday at the Will County Courthouse for Pierre C. Lollis, a 32-year-old Chicago man who stands accused of committing three felonies in the village of Shorewood. The Shorewood Police Department arrested Lollis back on July 19. According to the criminal complaint, Lollis used deception to steal a 2017 Jeep Cherokee from Shorewood's Tyson Motors, located on Southwest Frontage Road.

Lollis "used a fictitious Social Security number to obtain financing for the purchase of said vehicle, when the defendant knew that the Social Security he provided had not been issued to him and that he was not entitled to use the Social Security number for the aforementioned vehicle purchase," the criminal complaint states.

The three felonies lodged against Lollis are: theft, forgery and unlawful use of identification card.
