Holy Family Hosts Successful 2nd Annual Fun Fair

Students and parents enjoyed the opportunity to escape the winter weather and be entertained by games, raffles, and prizes.

The weather outside might be frightful, but the fun at Holy Family was just delightful on Saturday, February 21st. Holy Family’s 2nd Annual Fun Fair organized by the HSO was a huge success. School parents and RE parents worked together in a cooperative effort to run this exciting event. Both RE students and school students earned service hours for confirmation. A big thank you to the many volunteers who offered their valuable time!
The school was transformed overnight from an academic setting to a fun zone where kids paraded thru the school sporting punch cards that served as their game tickets. Happy children greeted classmates, neighbors, and friends in the halls and ducked in and out of classrooms to try out the many games available. Whether they were winning a gold fish at the fishing game, anxiously awaiting getting their nails done, or choosing which raffle basket they hoped to win, the kids were entertained and excited. Parents and grandparents chatted with one another and enjoyed an opportunity to find an inexpensive indoor activity to escape the winter blues and amuse their children.
