Students at Holy Family donated piles of toys to be donated to the
Annual Mark Staehely Toy Drive. The school families were once again generous in their response to the request for donations. The Make Your Mark Foundation collects toys annually in order to distribute them to area hospitals, where young patients are often unable to participate in typical holiday festivities. Mark Staehely began collecting toys for hospital bound children during the holidays while he was a patient at Children's Memorial Hospital. After Mark lost his battle with neuroblastoma, his mother and his friends established "Make Your Mark," the Mark Staehely Pediatric Cancer Foundation in order to continue the work that Mark began. Holy Family was proud to be involved in this Annual Toy Drive knowing that the efforts of the foundation will reach many children and brighten their holiday.
