Holy Family's 7th Grade Girls Volleyball Teams Finish with Successful Season

Holy Family’s 7th grade girls A volleyball team has been playing together since fifth grade.  The team won the St. Mary Mokena Volleyball tournament two years in a row.  There were eleven teams competing in the tournament.  Although the girls were losing, they fought hard to come back and beat school rival, St. Ray’s.  It was a thrilling match that had the spectators on the edge of their seats.  Every member of the team played an important role in this exciting victory.

The 7th grade girls A team went 10-2 in the conference and finished the season as co-champions.  They went 21-4-1 over all, which includes 2 tournaments championships and a great showing in the JCA 8th grade tournament.  The B team also enjoyed a successful season.  They finished the season tied for 2nd in the conference, finishing with a 15-10 over all record with a 2nd and 3rd in tournament play.  Coach Anthony Graham is proud of each member of these special teams.
